Outreach Ministry
We Are Committed to Making Disciples of Jesus Christ for the Transformation of the World.
Mt. Zion PIWC is called to live this commitment in a variety of places and ways. Each member dedicates a portion of their lives and available resources to bring the Living Christ into the lives of those in our community and extending to the global community.
Women's Ministry
We seek to engage women in all walks of life by equipping them to whole-heartedly serve Christ and advance His Kingdom through education, discipleship, and fellowship. We offer several activities each year as well as opportunities to fellowship and serve both as women and as a part of the greater Church of Pentecost family.
Youth & PENSA Ministry
PIWC Mt. Zion has its focus set on the next generation. We are convinced that the youth aren't just the future of the church, but the church here and now! To this end, we are committed to creating a place where young people can find belonging, grow, and encounter God. We encourage and challenge our youth to become lifelong followers of Jesus Christ in order to possess their generation.
Prayer & Intercessory Ministry
“Rejoice in Hope, be patient in tribulation, be constant in prayer.” (Romans 12:12). At Mt. Zion PIWC we believe that prayer is the way that we fellowship with God and also how He ministers to us. Intercession is a vital part of our ministry, and we continue to see God move as we take our requests before him. Our prayer and intercessory team are passionate about effective prayers, and are focused and committed to lifting up the ministry of Mt. Zion PIWC. Jesus modeled for us the importance of prayer in times alone with the Father and also taught His disciples how to pray for those in need. We desire to live in this way as Jesus taught us.
Men's Ministry
Spiritually-healthy men lay the groundwork for strong Christ-centered families. To this end, the Men’s Ministry Team exists to support and encourage men of the church to take their rightful positions in the home. Several activities are planned to provide opportunities for spiritual growth and encouragement.
Kids Ministry
We strive to provide a loving, safe environment for children of all ages. Our dedicated teachers and volunteers engage our children in fun, memorable, and Christ-centered activities that help them learn and apply the Bible to their hearts. Throughout the year, special events are planned for our children.
Jesus said, “Let the children alone, and do not hinder them from coming to Me; for the kingdom of heaven belongs to such as these.” (Matthew 19:14)
Music Ministry
The Purpose of our Praise and Worship Team at Mt. Zion PIWC is to magnify the greatness of our God in every gathering and inspire the Church to engage with God in Jesus Christ through the power of the Holy Spirit.
